Dr. Arak Sutivong is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of SCB X Public Company Limited (SCBX), a leading financial technology group and the parent company of Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) and other SCBX Group companies. Within SCBX, Dr. Arak is responsible for driving group-wide synergies and value creation, leading long-term growth initiatives, and spearheading disruptive new businesses and innovations. His leadership is pivotal to SCBX’s aspiration to become a regional fintech leader, with an “AI-First Organization” as its core principle, driving transformative initiatives for long-term sustainability.
Prior to joining SCBX Group, Dr. Arak accumulated more than 10 years of experience in leading multinational corporations. He worked at McKinsey & Company, advising clients on strategy and corporate finance across industries such as telecommunications, technology, energy, and government. Additionally, he worked at Qualcomm Incorporated in the USA, where he led wireless telecommunications R&D and co-authored more than 50 U.S. patents.
