Dr. Pucktada Treeratpituk

Pucktada currently serves as the Director of the Payment Systems and Financial Technology Policy Department at the Bank of Thailand.

Previously, he was a Research Section Head at the Puey Ungphakorn Institute for Economic Research and a Deputy Director of Data Analytics in the Data Management and Data Analytics Department at the Bank of Thailand. Before joining the central bank, he worked on Thailand’s Innovation Policy at the Ministry of Science and Technology, where he also served as the personal assistant to the Permanent Secretary.

He holds a B.S. with triple majors in Computer Science, Economics, and Discrete Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University, an M.S. in Language Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. in Information Science from Pennsylvania State University.
