Dr. Nongnuch Tantisantiwong
Senior Vice President, Head of Enterprise Risk and Infrastructure, CIMB Thai Bank
• Nongnuch has 20 years' experience in modelling and data analytics. She previously led Macroeconomic Forecasting Department and Financial System Policy Development Department at Thailand’s Ministry of Finance, was an associate professor and Program Director of MSc Risk and Finance in the UK, then returned to Thailand to serve as SVP Corporate Strategy and later Head of Credit Risk Modelling & Analytics at Krungthai Bank. She was also a visiting academic at School of Electronics and Computer Science the University of Southampton.
• Currently, as SVP Head of Enterprise Risk and Infrastructure at CIMB Thai Bank, she oversees six teams focused on credit risk modelling, data management and analytics, system implementation, and enterprise risk management. Her initiatives include enhancing the credit risk decision engine, automating data quality assessments and reporting dashboards, and advancing credit scoring, IRB RWA/IFRS ECL models, and stress testing models. She also established climate risk frameworks and databases to support proactive mitigation and monitoring.
• Since 2007, Nongnuch has received several research grants and published about 20 articles on banking, sustainability, and risk modelling. Her latest paper, 'ESG Risk Exposures of Mutual Funds,' was published in the Journal of Asset Management in Apr 2025.
